What counts is
the whole course
The price per session is half the story. Laser hair removal always comes as a series, and only the total tells you what you pay.
A laser only reaches the hairs that are growing at that moment, and that is never all of them at once. The rest take their turn in the weeks after. That is why you need several sessions with weeks in between, and not because the laser is not set high enough per session.
How many sessions it takes depends on the area. For the underarms, the bikini line, the legs and the arms it is usually six to eight. For the face and the back eight to ten, and for men on the face and neck eight to twelve.
What that costs in total: the underarms € 300 to € 400, the extended bikini line € 780 to € 1,040, full legs € 1,200 to € 1,600, Package A € 450 to € 600, Package D € 1,050 to € 1,400 and The Ultimate € 2,094 to € 2,792. For men, Package 1, beard line, cheeks and neck, costs € 640 to € 960 and Package 5, full body, € 4,000 to € 5,000.
You pay per session. There is no paying for a whole series upfront and no contract, and you can stop after any session. The hair that is there now is greatly reduced. Hair that comes later, for example through a hormonal change, falls outside that: maintenance is part of it, and we would rather say so beforehand than afterwards.

Cheap can
end up costing more
A low price per session does not yet tell you what you pay in the end, nor what you get for it. A session done too weakly, without overlap or at the wrong setting is cheap each time, but then you need more of them. These are the questions you can ask about any offer, ours included.
How many sessions are included, and what does the rest cost? An offer for six sessions only covers your course if six is enough. Also ask whether the price only applies to the first time, and what the sessions after that cost.
Do you have to pay upfront? Not with us. You pay per session, and you are not tied to anything.
Is the laser set high enough? A setting that is too low does not reach the hair root enough. The hair falls out and comes back, and you pay for sessions that do little. A setting that is too low can even stimulate hair growth, especially on the face and neck. That is why the therapist looks for the highest setting per area that your skin tolerates well.
Do the pulses overlap? With each pulse the laser reaches a small circle of skin. If those circles do not overlap a little, spots are left that are never reached, and after the series you see tufts or stripes of hair there. With us, the therapist works through the area in passes that overlap each other slightly.
Which device, and does it suit your skin? A hair laser aims at the pigment in the hair root. Darker skin also has pigment in the top layer, and that absorbs the light as well. That is why the GentleMax Pro has two lasers: the alexandrite for skin types I to III and the Nd:YAG for skin types V and VI. For type IV, the test patch decides.
Are the settings adjusted per area? On the bikini line the skin is often darker than on the rest of your body. So the therapist sets the laser again for each area, not once for your whole body. That is the difference between a good result and a burn. If you have just got a tan, we postpone rather than set the laser more cautiously.
Is there cooling? Just before every laser pulse a coolant goes onto the skin. Without that cooling, the energy the hair root needs would put too much strain on the skin above it.
Does laser work on your hair at all? Not on grey, white, red or very light blond hair: there is no pigment in it to aim at, and no setting changes that. Then electrolysis is the choice, and with us you hear that beforehand.
What happens between sessions? Shaving is always fine. Plucking, waxing and depilatory cream are not, because they remove the root the laser needs. And the time in between counts: if you come back too soon, the laser mostly reaches the same hairs as last time. How many weeks it is differs per area, from four weeks for the face to six to eight for the legs.
Does anyone look beyond your hair? Some medicines make your skin more sensitive to light, which is why we ask about them at the intake. If new hair keeps appearing, for example on the face, there may be a hormonal cause behind it, such as PCOS. Laser does help then, but maintenance remains necessary, and you hear that beforehand.

Then you book a treatment on advice. We reserve at most two hours for that: the intake, and then at least an hour to treat. If treating is safe at that moment and you want it, we do the first laser hair removal session in the same appointment.
What the intake costs
If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived and you pay only for the treatment. If the treatment does not go ahead, the intake costs € 50. A separate intake without treatment lasts at most 30 minutes and always costs € 50.

What do three areas together cost?
With us, three areas together are a package. Package B, underarms, full arms and extended bikini line, costs € 125 per session (€ 330 separately). Package C, underarms, full arms and full legs, and Package D, underarms, full legs and extended bikini line, both cost € 175 (€ 400 and € 380 separately). With all four of those areas it is Package E, for € 299.
What can I have lasered for my budget?
Per session, for women. Up to € 50: a small area, such as between the eyebrows (€ 20), the upper lip (€ 30), the chin (€ 35) or the underarms (€ 50). Up to € 100: Package A, underarms and extended bikini line (€ 75), the small bikini line (€ 80) or the face with the neck (€ 99). Up to € 150: Package B (€ 125) or the extended bikini line (€ 130). Above that, Package C or D (€ 175), Package E (€ 299) and The Ultimate (€ 349). Men pay from € 25, Package 1 costs € 80 and chest and stomach € 200.
What does laser hair removal cost for men?
For men there is a separate price list. Beard line, cheeks and neck together (Package 1) cost € 80 per session, the full back € 200 and the whole body (Package 5) € 500. The torso usually needs eight to ten sessions, the face and neck eight to twelve. You can also have your laser treatment done by a man.
Why is laser hair removal cheaper elsewhere?
That can come down to many things, and a low price need not be bad. Do ask how many sessions are included and what the rest costs, whether you have to pay upfront, which device is used and whether it suits your skin type, and who treats you. A session at too low a setting or without overlap is cheap each time, but then you need more of them.
Do you have offers or promotions?
Once a year, in the month we started, we celebrate our anniversary with offers. The rest of the year the fixed prices apply. A package is, however, always cheaper than the same areas separately.
Does the intake cost anything?
If it is your first visit, your appointment starts with an intake. It costs € 50 and is waived if we treat you in the same appointment.
Is laser hair removal covered by insurance?
Usually not. For hair growth on the face, for example with PCOS, it sometimes is: from supplementary insurance and with a referral. It differs per insurer and per policy. The insurance pages list it per insurer, and at the intake we work it out with you.
