At Diba Clinics in Rotterdam, laser hair removal for men costs € 80 per session for beard line, cheeks and neck (Package 1), € 200 for chest and stomach (Package 2), € 200 for the full back and € 500 for the whole body (Package 5). A small area takes ten minutes, the full back forty-five minutes. The torso usually needs eight to ten sessions, the face and neck eight to twelve. The laser specialists and skin therapists work with the GentleMax Pro, for every skin type, and you can also have it done by a man.
Why there is a separate page for men.
Because it works differently. Men's hair is thicker, sits deeper and is driven by testosterone. That calls for a higher setting, more sessions and a more honest story about maintenance. That is why the men's prices are higher than the women's prices for the same area: a session takes longer and needs more pulses. Both lists are published on the price page.

Beard line, cheeks and neck.
The most requested area for men after the back. Not to remove the beard, but to keep it sharp: the hair high on the cheeks and low on the neck that you shave off every day, with irritation and ingrown hairs as a result. The therapist marks out the line with you beforehand, because what is gone does not come back. If you are unsure where your beard line should be in five years, start conservatively. Facial hair in men is persistent; count on eight to twelve sessions.
Chest and stomach.
Easy to treat and less sensitive than you expect, except around the nipples and on the breastbone. If you want less rather than smooth, that is possible too: after three or four sessions the hair is thinner and sparser. Then you stop, or you do one session a year to keep it that way. Say at the intake what you want to achieve, because that determines the plan.

Chest, stomach, back and shoulders together is Package 4, and that is cheaper per session than the same areas separately. That is € 350 per session instead of € 525, and over the whole course that saves € 1,575.
Aftercare,

- SPF 50 on everything exposed to the sun, throughout the course.
- Shaving is always fine; waxing and plucking are not.

Package 5, full body, costs € 500 per session: chest, stomach, back, shoulders, underarms, arms, face, neck and back of the neck.
Most of the hair that has been treated does not come back. But in men, the body keeps activating new follicles well into their thirties. A maintenance session once a year is normal, and we would rather say so beforehand than after the course.
Less than waxing. Back and chest are a dull tap; neck, beard line and breastbone are sharper. Every pulse is cooled immediately.
