The forearms take twenty minutes, the full arms thirty-five minutes, and usually six to eight sessions are needed, with six weeks in between. Why arms call for an honest conversation.
For many people, arm hair is finer and lighter than leg hair. With dark, clearly visible hair on lighter skin, laser works very well. With light brown or thin hair the result is weaker, and then we tell you so beforehand. Nobody benefits from seven sessions for hair the laser can barely see. At the intake the therapist looks at thickness and colour, and you hear whether it is worth it, for the whole arm or just the forearm.
The forearm usually responds best. The upper arm often has so little and such light hair that treatment is not needed.

Arms are among the least sensitive areas. A dull warm tap, sharper at the wrist and the elbow.

Dark arm hair: yes. Blond or very fine hair: no. A tanned forearm in summer: wait until the colour has gone, or use a lower setting and count on an extra session. Arms catch the most sun of your whole body; this is the area where starting in autumn makes the most difference.

Every course starts with an intake. In it, the therapist determines your skin type, looks at the colour and thickness of your hair, and you hear how many sessions are realistic. If it is not going to work, you hear that there.
