Aevitae:
where to find it.

We cannot see what is in your policy, and we cannot promise anything on behalf of Aevitae. What we can do is tell you exactly where to find the answer and which condition sits in it most often.

Amounts are not given here. They change per year and per package, and with money, wrong is worse than absent.

With Aevitae itself

Aevitae administers the policy for EUCARE; that second name is often the one on your card. Acne therapy has its own page there, and what you get back is in Mijn Aevitae, because it differs per supplementary package.

To Aevitae

This reference was checked in September 2026. What is written there always takes precedence over what is written here.

Amounts and package names are deliberately left out.

The catch

Where it gets stuck

With some of the packages there is one budget for skin treatments together, including camouflage therapy and hair removal. What you spend on one comes off the other, so ask as well how much of it you have used this year.

This is not the amount but the condition, and that is deliberate: a condition changes far less often than a maximum, and it is usually the reason a claim is refused.

The therapist

What Aevitae
asks of us

A skin therapist who is a member of the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists, or a beauty specialist with the Beauty Care-B diploma.

This is the part we can check for you. Just ask before you book and we will say whether we meet this requirement.

Looking it up yourself

This is how you reach your own amount

Three steps, and you have the amount that belongs to your policy. We cannot look it up for you: what is in your package only you can see, behind your own login.

  1. Step 1

Open the acne therapy page; camouflage therapy and hair removal stand separately beside it, with their own conditions.

  2. Step 2

Log in to Mijn Aevitae. The amount that belongs with your package is there; it is not on the general page.

  3. Step 3

Ask at the same time whether your budget is shared with camouflage and hair removal, and how much of it you have used this year.

What to ask them

The questions that at Aevitae matter

Below is what Aevitae publishes about it themselves. Take it with you when you call and check it for your policy: what holds for one package need not hold for another.

  • Do I need a referral?

No. Aevitae asks for no referral for this cover. The condition sits with the therapist: a skin therapist who is a member of the professional association, or a beauty specialist with the Beauty Care-B diploma.

  • Do I share this budget with anything else?

With some of the packages yes: skin treatments, camouflage therapy and hair removal then come out of one budget. So ask not only what you get, but also how much of it you have used this year.

  • Does this come out of my excess?

No. Aevitae states that for this cover from the supplementary policy there is no excess and no personal contribution.

Before you call

One question comes before this.

Is there a medical reason for your concern? Without that reason no insurer covers anything, and that includes Aevitae ; for most of what we do, that is the answer.

The whole route, with what happens when the answer is no
What we can do

An invoice
that is right.

We put on your invoice exactly what was done and by whom, so that you can submit it. If Aevitae asks for a registration number or for the therapist's qualification, you get that from us. Do call before you book: that saves you a refusal afterwards.

What we do not do is claim directly or promise that something will be covered. That conversation you have with your insurer, and we would have to guess the answer.

Other insurers

Are you not with
Aevitae?

Is your insurer not listed? The four questions above work everywhere, because they are about conditions every insurer applies.
