Diba Clinics

Quality and registrations

Our skin therapists are in the Dutch Quality Register for Paramedics and members of the professional association. The clinic is a member of ANBOS and contracted with all health insurers.

Below it says per register what it involves and how to check it yourself.

Member of

Six things you can check

  • Our skin therapists

    Dutch Association of Skin Therapists

The professional association of skin therapists. Members have to be registered in the Dutch Quality Register for Paramedics; one cannot exist without the other.

A professional association writes the code of conduct and the guidelines a skin therapist has to keep to. That is a standard from outside the clinic.

  • Our skin therapists

    Dutch Quality Register for Paramedics

The register is voluntary and the bar is real: re-registration every five years, and for that at least 1600 working hours over at least 36 months plus 160 points of continuing education.

Skin therapist is a protected title (article 34 of the Individual Healthcare Professions Act). The title says someone has done the training; the register says someone actually practises the profession and keeps it current.

  • The clinic and our beauty therapists

    ANBOS

The trade body for beauty therapists. Member salons work to the industry's code of conduct and hygiene guidelines, and fall under the ANBOS complaints procedure.

The part of our work that is not paramedical falls under this. That too comes with a standard written by someone other than us, and a complaints route that does not stop with us.

    How a complaint runs
  • Our beauty therapists

    SKIN Register

The quality register for beauty therapists. It registers people, not salons: every beauty therapist is listed in it by name.

Beauty therapist is not a protected title. The register is the way to see that someone has learned the trade and keeps it current.

  • The clinic

    Contracted with all health insurers

There is a contract with all Dutch health insurers. That does not mean everything is covered: what you get back depends on your supplementary policy and on the indication.

It saves you the trouble of paying upfront and claiming for the treatments that do fall under your policy.

    Cover per insurer
  • The clinic

    ZorgkaartNederland

The independent rating site of the Dutch Patients Federation. Patients rate care providers there; we cannot place, change or remove those ratings.

A rating that does not go through us says more than one that does. We stand there at 9.7, and you check that figure yourself.

Two professions

Who is in which register

At Diba there are skin therapists and beauty therapists. Those are two professions, each with its own association and its own register. That is why there are four names above and not two.

Skin therapists
Members of the Dutch Association of Skin Therapists and registered in the Dutch Quality Register for Paramedics. For members of the association that registration is mandatory.
Beauty therapists
Members of ANBOS and registered by name in the SKIN Register, the quality register for beauty therapists.
