Peel lines

Not a device but four brands of peel, in three levels of strength. Which one fits depends on your skin at that moment.

The clinic works with peels from Skin Tech Pharma, Dermaceutic, ADO and Mesoestetic, in three levels. Which one is chosen depends on how your skin is doing at that moment. The working time is measured against that: longer is not better but more damaging.

What we do with it

The therapist chooses the range, the strength and the working time based on your skin, your health, the area and the goal of the treatment.

What we use it for

Which concerns we treat with it

Per concern it says which treatment is used for it. Which one suits you is established by the skin therapist at the intake.

The technique

What this product line actually does

A peel is not a device but a liquid, and what it does depends on three things: which acid is in it, how concentrated it is and how acidic the mixture is as a whole. Those three together decide how deep it goes.

Fruit acids stay in the horny layer and are washed off again after a few minutes. Salicylic acid dissolves in oil and so gets into the pore, where water-soluble acids do not reach. Stronger mixtures go into the epidermis and sometimes below it, and those ask for preparation and recovery time.

Which range and which strength suits you depends on your skin type, on what you are using at the moment and on the season.

Why this product line

What is different from the other devices here

Several devices here do the same thing to the eye. Which one you get depends on your skin and on what was measured. Below is how they differ from one another.

  • Compared with

    Dermaplane pro

Scrapes the top layer off with a blade. A peel dissolves it, and depending on the range can go deeper.

  • Compared with

    Hydrafacial syndeo

Works with a mild combination of acid and suction with no recovery time. A peel goes further and so asks more in return.

About de Peel lines

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no device here?

Because a peel is not one. This is a liquid, and what it does depends on the acid, the concentration and the acidity of the mixture.

What decides how deep a peel goes?

Those three together. Fruit acids stay in the horny layer, salicylic acid dissolves in oil and so reaches into the pore, and stronger mixtures go into the epidermis.

Will I peel?

With a light peel usually not, with a stronger one yes. You hear that beforehand, because it decides when best to schedule this.

Is this possible in summer?

With pigment preferably not, and with the stronger ranges not either. Sun after a peel is exactly the combination that costs you the result.

Measure first

The difference is in the hand that operates it

The same Peel lines gives a different result in two clinics. What counts is the measurement beforehand, the setting that belongs with it and the therapist who judges what suits your skin.

  • The measurement

Under UV and in normal light, so that you know what is there and how deep.

  • The setting

Strength, depth and pulse duration are chosen for your skin, not to a standard.

  • The honest no

If this does not fit what is going on with you, we say so.
