RRS Eyes is the skin booster for around the eyes. What the boosters cost with us and how a course goes is on Skin boosters in Rotterdam.
Where it lands
In mesotherapy active ingredients are brought into the skin instead of onto it. RRS Eyes is a mixture tuned to the eye contour, containing among other things hyaluronic acid, vitamins and amino acids, and is placed in small deposits under and beside the eye. The skin there is thin, so the therapist works with less volume and at a shallower depth than on the cheek.
- Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly.Passes through here
- EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.It works here
- Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building. It works here
- Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason.Does not reach here
What happens,
in order.
Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.
Looking first
Dark circles come from pigment, from vessels showing through or from shadow. Which it is for you decides whether this gives anything.
Small deposits
With a fine needle the therapist places the mixture under and beside the eye, in a series of small portions.
Straight on
The bumps settle within a day. Make-up you had better leave alone that day.

RRS Eyes, during the treatment
What you notice in the chair
You lie back and with a fine needle the therapist places a series of small deposits under and beside your eye. Every prick feels like a short tap; the area around the eyes is more sensitive than the cheek, so you notice it more there.
Afterwards small bumps stand where each injection went in. That belongs with it and it is the fluid not yet absorbed; within a few hours to a day they are gone.
You can carry straight on with your day afterwards. Bruises do occur around the eyes, so do not book it just before something where you have to be photographed.
What this does around the eye does and does not help with
On the left where this treatment works well, on the right when another treatment does more for you.
- Works on the eye contour itself, where a cream does not reach deep enough
- Delivers moisture and active ingredients into the skin rather than onto it
- Can be combined with a treatment on the rest of your face
- For volume under the eye a filler is the tool and not this
- If the shadow comes from your bone structure, colour changes little
- This is a series, so you book the sessions one after another
The concerns this belongs to
Every concern page says what the concern is, what can be done about it and when a different approach gives more.
Frequently asked questions
Is it painful?
It feels like a series of short pricks. Around the eyes the skin is thinner than on the cheek, so you notice it more clearly there than in a treatment on your face.
Why are there bumps afterwards?
That is the liquid not yet absorbed. They settle within a few hours to a day.
Does this help against dark circles?
That depends on where the colour comes from. With pigment and with thin skin with vessels showing through there is something to be done; if the darkness comes from shadow cast by your bone structure, little changes. We establish that at the intake.
What does it cost?
That depends on the number of sessions that suits you, and we establish that at the intake. The intake costs € 50 and that amount comes off as soon as you are treated in the same appointment.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow 30 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.
How much recovery time do I need?
Small bumps that settle within a day. Bruises do occur around the eyes.
How often do I need to come?
A series, with a few weeks in between, then maintenance. You hear the number at the intake.
What does it cost?
From 130 euros; the amount depends on the option you choose. Every option is on the price page.
Start with a skin analysis
The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
