Skin therapist vacancy in Rotterdam
Diba Clinics is a skin clinic in Rotterdam North. We treat acne, pigmentation, scars, skin improvement and unwanted hair growth, and since 2017 we have worked with a fixed team of eleven.
We are looking for a skin therapist who runs a clinic independently: measuring, drawing up a treatment plan and carrying that plan out themselves on the equipment we have.

What you do
You run a clinic of your own: you measure, you draw up the plan and you carry it out yourself. Four parts that come back every week.
Measuring and assessing
Every programme starts with a skin analysis on the EVE-M. You assess what you see, record it under fixed lighting and discuss the outcome with the client.
A plan that holds
You establish which treatment fits, in which order and over how many sessions. You assess contraindications yourself and explain why something is or is not possible.
Treating yourself
Laser, IPL, microneedling, peels and mesotherapy. You set the equipment to the skin type and the area, and adjust on what the skin does in between.
Watching the programme
At every check-up you put the images side by side. If an approach gives too little, you change it rather than sitting it out.
Between two appointments
What we ask and offer
On the left the requirements that really matter, on the right what stands against them at Diba. Both lists are the same length, deliberately.
- A completed bachelor's degree in Skin Therapy (The Hague University of Applied Sciences or HU Utrecht)
- Listed in the Dutch Quality Register for Paramedics, or able to meet that shortly
- Experience with laser, IPL or microneedling, or willingness to be trained in them
- You can explain what you do in plain language, including when the answer disappoints
- Available at least two evenings a month, because Wednesday and Thursday run until 21:00
- A permanent place in a team of eleven, with skin therapists and orthomolecular skin specialists side by side
- Equipment that is there and works: Fotona TimeWalker, Nordlys IPL, GentleMax Pro, SkinPen, Dermapen 4, U225 and the EVE-M
- Time for an hour-long intake, because that is where every programme starts
- Room for continuing education, partly because the Quality Register asks for those points
- A clinic in Rotterdam North with parking in the street

You spend a day with us
You work alongside us in the clinic, see the equipment and meet the team. After that you both know enough to form a view.
Frequently asked questions
Can I apply as a graduate?
Yes. A skin therapy degree is the requirement; experience with specific equipment is not. You are trained on the devices you do not yet know.
Do I work with my own calendar?
You run a clinic of your own and see your own clients again at the check-ups. The calendar is scheduled by the practice manager.
How many hours are available?
24 to 38 hours, by arrangement. Wednesday and Thursday run until 21:00 and Saturday until 18:00, so evenings and Saturdays are part of the rota.
Is there a salary indication?
We discuss that in the first conversation, along with the hours and the start date.
Where exactly is the clinic?
At Weissenbruchlaan 166, 3054 LS Rotterdam, in Rotterdam North. By car you park in the street and by public transport you are inside in a little under half an hour from Rotterdam Centraal.
