A blood test that maps which foods your body reacts to.

What it does

What it gives you

A test that maps which foods your body reacts to. It is not a skin treatment, but the result sometimes gives an explanation for what is happening on your skin.

  • Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly.Does not reach here
  • EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.Does not reach here
  • Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building.Does not reach here
  • Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason.Does not reach here
In the appointment

What happens,
in order.

Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.

  1. Taking the sample

Once, and you need prepare nothing else.

  2. Waiting for the result

The result comes from the laboratory and not from the treatment room.

  3. Going through it together

What the result says and what you can do with it. That is what the conversation is about.

How it feels

What you notice in the chair

This is not a skin treatment. A small amount of blood is taken and that goes to a laboratory; in the clinic itself you are done within a quarter of an hour.

We discuss the result in a separate appointment, because a list of values without explanation mostly leads to cutting things out of your food unnecessarily.

What an intolerance test can and cannot say you hear in that conversation, including when the answer is that in your case it is of little use.

What it is for

What this test demonstrates

On the left where this treatment works well, on the right when another treatment does more for you.

It works well for
  • Maps which foods your body responds to
  • Sometimes gives an explanation for skin concerns where nothing is to be found in the skin itself
  • Gives you a result to take with you, even if you do nothing else with us
For this you choose something else
  • For an allergy test or a diagnosis you belong with a doctor
  • Nothing happens to your skin itself here; that is a separate appointment
  • Whether your skin improves from leaving things out differs per person

Frequently asked questions

Is this covered?

That differs per insurer and per policy. The insurance cover page says what is known per insurer; your own policy is what counts.

What if nothing comes of it?

That is a usable outcome too: you then know you have to look further than your diet.

How long does an appointment take?

Allow 30 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.

How much recovery time do I need?

None.

How often do I need to come?

Once

What does it cost?

300 euros per session. Every price is published on the price page.

The first appointment

Start with a skin analysis

The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
