Exfoliating and bringing oxygen into the skin, in one treatment.
What OxyGeneo costs with us, what the bubbles do and what the difference from a HydraFacial is, is on OxyGeneo in Rotterdam.
Where it lands
A facial that loosens the top layer and introduces active ingredients at the same time, with oxygen released in the skin itself. It works on the upper layers, with a result you see straight away.

What happens
Acts on
The stratum corneum
The treatment works on the outer layer of dead skin cells; the deeper layers are not treated in the same way.
- Stratum corneumThe outer layer of dead cells. What happens here shows quickly and heals quickly. It works here
- EpidermisWhere your pigment sits and where new skin cells come from.It works here
- Upper dermisThis is where the connective tissue starts. What you reach here heals by building.Does not reach here
- Deep dermisHair roots, vessels and the firmness of your skin. Working this deep needs a reason.Does not reach here
What happens,
in order.
Every treatment starts with cleansing, and that is done by hand. Make-up and sebum come off and the therapist checks that everything is gone, because a device or an active ingredient that works on a layer never reaches your skin.
Clean first
Make-up and sebum off. Otherwise the rest works on a film instead of on your skin.
Loosening and delivering
The head passes over your skin and does two things at once: the top layer loose, the ingredients in.
Straight out the door again
Your skin is briefly pink and that fades within an hour. Make-up is fine the same day.

OxyGeneo glow, during the treatment
What you notice in the chair
A small handpiece passes over your skin while a gel lies on it. The two react with each other and that fizzes lightly: you hear it more than you feel it. It is one of the calmest treatments we do.
Afterwards your skin is pink and feels soft. You can carry straight on with your day; there is nothing to take into account except sun protection, and that applies anyway.
What this treatment is meant for
On the left where this treatment works well, on the right when another treatment does more for you.
- Loosens the top layer and delivers active ingredients in the same movement
- Leaves your skin looking fresher and more even straight afterwards
- Fits just before an occasion, because there is no day when you have to stay in
- For what is going on in the dermis you choose microneedling or laser
- For scars, deep wrinkles or pigment a different treatment fits
- For a lasting difference you book a series rather than a one-off

Frequently asked questions
How long do I see something of it?
The effect lasts days, not weeks. So many people book this treatment just before an occasion.
Is this possible on sensitive skin?
Usually yes. The therapist judges that at the intake; with active rosacea or inflamed acne we calm your skin first.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow 60 minutes at the clinic. That is the time reserved for you in the calendar, including the cleansing beforehand.
How much recovery time do I need?
None.
How often do I need to come?
As a one-off, or as maintenance every four to six weeks.
What does it cost?
150 euros per session. Every price is published on the price page.
Start with a skin analysis
The therapist looks at your skin, measures with the EVE-M and establishes what suits you. You hear straight away how many sessions it involves and what it costs. If you are treated in the same appointment, the intake fee is waived.
